Fertility Reflexology

Maternity Reflexology
Maternity reflexology is a hugely beneficial practice for an expectant parent, throughout the pregnancy from 15 weeks gestation. It can ease pregnancy-related symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, fatigue, back pain, and anxiety.
All the while the therapy is also promoting deep relaxation within the body and beautiful connection with your baby. It is not unusual to feel baby mooching around, as we work the various reflex points of the body, particularly around the abdomen.
Every session is an added privilage as Sinead’s ensures a safe, supportive, and beautifully tailored treatment, that caters to your ongoing needs throughout your pregnancy from week 15 into third semester.

Natural Induction Reflexology
Encouraging the Body to Prepare for Labour Naturally
From 37 weeks onwards, Sinead offers specific, gentle and preparatory reflexology sessions, designed to help the body prepare for the birthing process.
This calming practice supports the beginning of labour naturally by relaxing the body and mind and encouraging the release of necessary hormones to bring on labour.
For this treatment there are two options to choose from. You may visit Sinead’s comfortable and peaceful therapy room in Navan or you may opt for a location of your choosing such as your home or birthing location.

Reflexology ‘In Labour’
Gentle Birthing through Holistic Touch
The birthing experience of pre-labour, labour and transition towards delivery is a natural human process however varies for each birth, each parent and each baby.
Sinead delivers reflexology during labour at your home, hospital or birthing centre, by arrangement. Together, Sinead and the parent(s) will arrange a retainer appointment which means Sinead will be on hand whenever the time comes, to support you and your baby’s safe arrival.
The treatment is mindful of the stage of labour, the experience of the birthing mother, and baby’s safety. It brings calmness, centred awareness and natural endorphine release to assist with pain management.
‘In Labour’ session duration is 2 hours plus (9am-9pm) – Cost €300
Out of Hours surcharge (9pm-9am) – €50
Out of Range surcharge (<15km) – from €50
NB: Session is a Retainer Appointment, and carries flexibility 9am-9pm – 7 Days
Covers as far as Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, or 15km distance from Navan Clinic. Further distances may carry a travel surcharge.

Why bring your newborn for a Pre-Treatment Assessment
A pre-treatment assessment gives Sinead the opportunity to meet you and your newborn, assess the physicalities of baby and hear from you about their symptoms.
These symptoms may be of discomfort within their body, affected sleep or digestive issues or those synonomous with difficult birthing.
Newborn Reflexology
Soothing Touch for Calm, Settled Babies
Safe for even the youngest of clients, Sinead’s reflexology for newborns and infants helps alleviate the after effects of birth, particularly in overdue babes, induced births, or assisted deliveries.
Reflexology can support better feeding, digestion, and sleep, leading to overall calm and settled little ones. This means the precious early weeks, are ones to be enjoyed rather than endured and the bonding of parent and baby is uninterrupted
It is a very gentle treatment to which babies respond amazingly.
Sinead has been working with newborns and infants for over 16 years. She has a proven track record of beautiful engagement, quick results and very happy babies and parents.

NB: The parent or carer remains in the room with the child throughout the session. Sinead is fully insured to work with children under 16 years, is Garda Vetted and has an upto date HSE’s Children First Certification.
