Sinead Supports Your Self-Care

The evenings are drawing in and the days are getting shorter. Our access to daylight and sunshine is going to be limited for the next few months. For some, this time of year can be quite difficult, especially if you have poor mental health or challenges with depression.

Reflexology can really support you during this time. Regular weekly treatments support your body’s immune system. It balances hormones and keeps the important brain chemicals at optimum levels.

Complementary treatments in general help a lot. However, in my experience of over twenty years as a Holistic practitioner, Reflexology works like no other. Not only for physical and emotional regulation but it is also wonderful for soul soothing.

Do you experience Sleep Issues, Depression, Fatigue, Pains and Aches, Tension or Stress?

As a touch therapy, reflexology begins from the moment your therapist puts their hands to your feet (or hands if you prefer). It is a time for calm, peacefulness and renewal.

It is an ancient therapy, with images of foot therapies appearing in hieroglyphics on the pyramid tombs of Egypt. It has been practised in traditional cultures across the globe in one form or another.

Modern day reflexology is generally practised in a gentle, therapeutic centre. I have created just that, in my treatment rooms at Green Tara Holistic College in Navan, Co. Meath.

Come in and ……

  • Reset your circadian rhythm to regulate sleep
  • Rest down in comfort and warmth while you are cared for intentionally
  • Provide support to your body as it naturally heals what ails it

My Therapeutic Space in Navan, Co. Meath

My treatment room has been thought out to provide the maximum comfort as an aid to your sense of wellbeing and healing. The colours have been chosen as they represent the chakras for the crown (our knowing), heart (green) and solar plexus (yellow or gold). These chakras are special to me as it is with these intentions that I deliver my healing.

I feel strongly about putting love, compassion and intention into the care of my clients and so the heart is evident. I also feel that working from the solar plexus, as I do, I instill confidence in my work and promote the healing power of your own body. I know the treatments work.

The Psychology of Colour

Moreover, these colours in psychology have huge relevance to the hidden healing that takes place during reflexology, on the psyche. That special element that makes us unique and is ours alone.

Yellow inspires happiness and positivity. It is striking in that it captures your attention and cannot help but emit joy which you in turn receive, during your treatment. Plush fabrics, the warmth and the gentle touch therapy that is reflexology, all combine to heal the heart, the mind, body and your soul, when you enter my therapy space.

Green as a symbol of balance, nature, renewal and growth is ever present in my treatments. My role as a reflexology practitioner is to assist your body as it balances itself. Learn to lean inward towards nature to renew and awaken your healing and personal growth.

Purple inspires fantasy and magic, the spiritual essence we each hold privately and when owning it truly, we hold the higher power we possess in our lives.

The image is of a lush green woodland area, with a small stream running through it, tall trees and lots of green undergrowth are illuminated by the sun peeking through the tree tops. It is a bright summer's day

Snippets of wood appear throughout my treatment rooms, as a connection with nature, sharing this element with the plant life in the space, which promote clean, oxygen filled air, supporting ease of breath.

I cannot do away with your challenges or struggles, but I can absolutely help you feel more able, more confident and more ready to approach them and find practical solutions, to aid you living your life from a place of self-care and empathy.

Sinead

If you struggle at this time of year, or if you find this period of Autumn and Winter a time when your energy is lower or reduced easily, then Reflexology can support you. I can support you.

Don’t take my word for it though. You will find testimonials on my website from my beautiful clients or you can search the internet for the kind words others have left as reviews about their experiences.

Things to remember

  • Reflexology is a non-invasive touch therapy administered primarily to the feet, during a gentle and caring therapeutic session
  • You don’t need the science to FEEL it work
  • I offer early morning and late evening appointments as well as lunchtime to suit all. You can even have reduced stress-buster treatments if time is short.

Come and visit. You are welcome to view the rooms on Tuesdays between clients to get a feel for the space. You do need to contact me in advance however, to ensure no-one’s session is interrupted.

You can also book a taster session which is a short twenty minute session done on the hands. This gives you the opportunity to meet me too and ensure this is the safe space you deserve. Don’t forget to check out my special offer for January, when Taster Sessions are just €20.26. These must be booked by December 31st.

I look forward to meeting you.
Shared as always, with love and care,
Sinead
